GROUP
As an interest group within Heswall U3A the Ukulele group was formed in May 2019 following
a call to members to test interest in starting a Ukulele interest group.
Membership has been steadily growing.

We are dedicated to enhancing our learning and having fun playing our ukuleles. Our emphasis is on unashamedly playing songs we enjoy and perhaps inspire memories. We also welcome new members who simply want to sing along with us rather than play ukulele.

We know that music plays a big part in each of our lives and we love to share those memories through our playing. Our aim is
to play songs that we enjoy singing along to and others do too. At the top of the page you will see the menu for the site, click
on MUSIC to see the songs we play, we are adding to this list all the time.

Taking up the ethos of Heswall U3A, our aim is to learn and encourage each other to be the best we can be or want to be.
Each contribution is valued by the group. We will share our expertise so as to help each other learn new techniques and develop our playing.
Non playing singers are very welcome to join the group. We have a growing number joining us and having fun singing along.
If you enjoy singing but don't want to play Ukulele, you will be very welcome.
The Group is very well supported by an enthusiastic membership,
however, we have space for a few more experienced players.
